GOP Breaking election law in MS-Senate

Sometimes I am just in awe of the lengths the GOP goes to to subvert the election process. (But I'm never surprised). In the Senate race in Mississippi, they have just decided to go ahead and break state laws:
Over the objection of state Attorney General Jim Hood, the state sample ballot to be used in the November general election will have the U.S. Senate race between Ronnie Musgrove and Roger Wicker at the end of the ballot.

Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann recommended to Gov. Haley Barbour today during a meeting of the state Election Commission that the special election between Musgrove, a Democrat, and Wicker, a Republican, be placed at the end of the ballot.

Barbour approved the recommendation. - Swing State Project
Here's the law:

SEC. 23-15-367. Arrangement of names of candidates, order of titles of offices, and printing of official ballot generally; order in which titles of various offices are to be listed on the ballot; furnishing of sample of official ballot; alphabetical arrangement in primary elections.

Why Is Lieberman Allowed to Attack Obama and No One in Senate Leadership Responds?

You tell me.  Why is Joe Lieberman (Uncle Joe LIE in most circles) being allowed to attack his colleague, Senator Barack Obama, on everything in his speech at the Republican National Convention and no one; I mean NO ONE in the Senate Leadership is responding or going after him for it?

I’m getting wholeheartedly sick of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s silence and inaction on the issue of Joe Lieberman.  When he lost his Democractic Primary election to Ned Lamont back in 2006, that should have been the end of “Holy Joe”, but as many of you know, he continues to occupy a Senate seat, and uses that position to extract revenge on any and all Democratic members in both Houses of Congress for not supporting his re-election.  He uses the fact that the Democrats have a slim majority in the Senate right now, and he always threatens Reid with going over to the Republicans if Reid doesn’t play nice.

Are We Confused Yet?

For a couple of weeks now, I've been railing about the lack of a "donation" link on the Democratic National Convention website, especially given the much-publicized fund raising shortage by the convention "host committee".  I mean, our presumptive candidate is a master at web-based fund raising.  The Chairman of the DNC, the Good Doctor Dean, started the trend during his own primary run back in 2004.

I sent an e-mail to the link on the web site asking: why?

And I received an "out of office" auto-reply.  Actually, it wasn't an "out of office" reply: that's just what the re: line read.  It actually was a "we're far too busy to reply to e-mails" auto reply.

Again -- WTF?
